The client is one of U.S. largest providers of specialty managed care services and products for workers' compensation and catastrophically injured populations. The rapid growth in business had led to the organization outgrowing the current Pharmacy Management System. The client completed an evaluation of several leading pharmacy management systems with focus on mail order pharmacy and was unable to find an appropriate solution to meet its strategic and long term needs.

We had been engaged with the client for several years supporting and enhancing their current Pharmacy Management system. Our resources were highly skilled in industry best practices as well as nuances of unique client specific business processes. Along with other leading vendors, we were invited to participate in RFP process to build a new Pharmacy Management system. Through a rigorous selection process, we were selected for developing the solution based on our deep expertise and ability to execute this project on a Fixed Fee basis. A global team of 15 resources took 10 months to deliver the first release at a cost of $900K. We delivered the second release in next 3 months at a cost of $200K. The total acquisition cost to the vendor was $1.1M with post-implementation warranty and support for 90 days after go-live.
